Sara Boos, Artistic Director
This is Sara's 5th year as Director of Northwest Girlchoir. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Michigan State University and a Master of Music degree in music education from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Sara has over fifteen years of choral and general music teaching experience and has worked with students at the elementary, middle, high school, and college levels in Michigan, Ohio, Minnesota, and Washington. Along with her work in public school music programs, she has directed adult and children’s church choirs and a women’s choir at a maximum-security prison in Minnesota. Sara is an active vocal soloist and choral musician. For four years she was a member of the Dale Warland Singers in Minnesota, one of the country’s premier professional choirs. Since coming to the Northwest, Sara has sung with Seattle Pro Musica, the St. James Cathedral Choir and Cantorei, Opus 7, and Urban Baroque in Portland, Oregon. |
