Now celebrating its 38th anniversary season in 2010-11, Northwest Girlchoir has experienced phenomenal organizational growth in the past several years, doubling enrollment and opening a satellite rehearsal location. Sustaining our growth and the high quality of Northwest Girlchoir’s choral music education requires considerable resources.

Tuition and fees cover only a portion of the Northwest Girlchoir budget (about 75%). The organization is able to thrive because of generous donations from families, foundations, corporate matching funds, government arts funds, and individuals.

Each year Northwest Girlchoir conducts a fundraising campaign and holds two events to close the gap between total annual expenses and the revenue realized from tuition, ticket sales, performance fees, and other earned income. In addition, choristers have the opportunity to participate in several fundraisers throughout the year to "save up" for their tours.

Contributions to Northwest Girlchoir support quality choral education, outreach, and performance opportunities and help to fund our financial aid program so that all interested girls can participate in Northwest Girlchoir.

Northwest Girlchoir welcomes contributions of all kinds. We have many volunteer opportunities and an active wish list. In addition, we have two special fundraising events a year, the fun November Nosh and the elegant Spring Fling as well as one campaign, our Annual Fund.
