What if my chorister cannot attend rehearsal?

Parents/choristers should email their choir director, in advance whenever possible. Choristers are expected to attend rehearsals regularly and participate in all tech rehearsals and concerts.

What are drop-off procedures?

  • Prep Choir parents must accompany their chorister to the rehearsal room and sign them in.
  • Fresca, Amabile, Vivace, and Amore choristers may sign themselves in no earlier than 10 minutes prior to the start of rehearsal. Northwest Girlchoir is not responsible for choristers who arrive earlier than 10 minutes prior to rehearsal.

What about pick-up procedures?

  • Prep Choir-- parents will meet choristers and their conductor in the East Entrance Lobby.
  • All other choirs--you may meet your chorister outside the rehearsal room after rehearsal, or in the downstairs lobby in front of the East Entrance, whatever feels best to you and your chorister.

What if I'm late in picking up my chorister?

If you will be late to pick up your child, please call the office to let us know. Your child will be brought to the choir office to wait for you. This service should only be used on a rare occasion, and should not be abused. Do not have your child go alone to the coffee shop to wait for you – they need to wait in the Northwest Girlchoir office so that they can be under staff supervision.

How will Northwest Girlchoir communicate with my family?

Look for the Northwest Girlchoir ChoirWire e-Newsletter every week. If you are not receiving it, let us know right away (info@northwestgirlchoir.org).

When are concerts and how do I get tickets?

All Season Concerts require audience members to purchase tickets; most are available through Brown Paper Tickets. Tickets to Benaroya concerts are available at www.benaroyahall.org. Some concerts, like the Welcome Concert (October), the Amore/Seniors concert (May), and various community concerts, are free.
