Prep ChoiR

Registration for Fall is now closed. Sign up below to be notified when January registration opens!

  • Prep Choir rehearses one day per week from 5:00pm - 6:00 pm.
  • All rehearsals take place at North Seattle Church.
  • 1st graders rehearse on Tuesdays & 2nd graders rehearse on Wednesdays
  • Rehearsals begin in September and end in May.

Choristers in Prep Choir learn the fundamentals of music, focusing on rhythm, pitch, and tone. Through games in rehearsals and preparing for mainstage concerts, Prep Choristers enjoy an engaging atmosphere that builds a foundation as they grow through Northwest Girlchoir. With opportunities to perform on their own and with older girls, choristers also gain confidence singing on stage and connecting with the audience.

How to Join

No audition required! Simply sign up online to join Prep Choir for the full-season in August or at mid-season in January.

 

Girls must be entering grades 1 - 2 to be eligible for Prep Choir. Click here to be notified when registration open in January!

Rehearsals

Singers in Prep Choir enjoy one rehearsal per week from 5:00-6:00PM. First graders rehearse on Tuesdays and 2nd graders rehearse on Wednesdays. Rehearsals take place at North Seattle Church, 2150 N 122nd St, Seattle.

Tuition + scholarships

Northwest Girlchoir offers several payment plans to accommodate families. We also value accessibility and diversity, and have a long-standing, growing financial aid program. We encourage participation by any enthusiastic young singer regardless of ability to pay full tuition.
