Prep Choir & Fresca rehearse one day per week.

All rehearsals take place at North Seattle Church.

Rehearsals begin in August and end in June.
Choristers in Prep Choir learn the fundamentals of choral singing, focusing on rhythm, pitch, and basic ensemble skills. Through song, game, and dance in rehearsals and concerts, Prep Choristers enjoy an engaging atmosphere that builds a foundation as they grow through Northwest Girlchoir. With opportunities to perform on their own and with older singers, choristers also gain confidence singing on stage and connecting with the audience.
In Fresca, choristers learn healthy vocal technique, music notation, and increased rhythm and pitch accuracy by learning and performing unison and simple two part choral music.

Tuition & Tuition Assistance
Northwest Girlchoir offers several payment plans to accommodate families. Northwest Girlchoir also values accessibility and diversity, and has a long-standing, growing financial aid program. We encourage participation by any enthusiastic young singer regardless of ability to pay full tuition.

Prep Choir
Grades 1+
45 minutes once per week

Fresca
Grades 3+
60 minutes once per week
Fresca is a non-auditioned choir that uses unison and two part music to develop choral and musical skills. Choristers improve melodic and rhythmic skills, learn to follow a piece of music, and develop collaborative skills and focused attention. Fresca sections perform together on main stage concerts with older singers to build confidence and joyful musical memories.
