About The Event

This FREE concert will feature a variety of classical music from across Korea and the Western hemisphere. Even though this is a free event, please RSVP for this concert by following the link above! See below for the program. The concert will begin with 2023 KMA Youth Competition grand prize winner, Jason Nam. Next, Pianist, Yerin Kim will perform Schubert/Liszt Song Transcriptions “Die Forelle” and “Erlkonig” The renowned Violinist, Brendan Shea who has been awarded Gold Medal and Audience Award from the Chesapeake International Chamber Music Competition and more, will perform Franz Schubert, Fantasie in C Major for Violin and Piano, D.934. Soprano, Yuijn Kim will perform Charles Gounod, Amour ranime mon courage (Poison Aria) from Roméo et Juliette. Soprano, Yujin Kim & Northwest Girlchoir will perform Antonín DvoÅ™ák, Als die alte Mutter "Songs My Mother Taught Me" from Gypsy Songs, B. 104, Op. 55. Also, Mezzo-Soprano, Soon Cho and Soprano, Lindsey Hansen will perform, as a duet, Unable to Forget, and Spring in my Hometown by Hyeyoung Cho. All the songs will be accompanied by pianist Kyungsin Kim. The Northwest Girlchoir, led by Karen Bruno, artistic director, will also perform at the concert.
